Fantastic Day so far… How?

I’ve been up for about 5 hours now, and am feeling better overall than I have in a long time.
Why?
I think it’s really important that I examine that. I spend a lot of time examining “So why do I feel like shit, what has to change.” It’s just as important, possibly more important, to study why I’m feeling good.
So what have I done to get myself into feeling this way? It’s my actions, which come from my thoughts and feelings, which come from my state of being, which creates my life, which solidifies my state of being, which affects my thoughts and feeling, which propel me to action… well, you get the idea.
1.) I got a good nights rest. I did that by drinking only water an hour before bed (no coffee, no energy drinks), by expressing my thoughts beforehand in a journal, by working my inventory, and by talking to someone about what was going on between my ears, and by praying as I drifted off to sleep.
2.) When I got up this morning, I prayed, and worked out what I was going to get done today by working pgs. 86-87 of the Big Book and doing my Simpleology Target Praxes.
3.) Since then, I’ve been getting the things on my list done that I need to get done, and minimizing the distractions. I’m not trying to control how things go, but I’m doing what I can to hit the targets I’ve set for myself.
Some of the targets were to get to an AA meeting (I did, and I even shared!), find and schedule a Nicotine Anonymous meeting for later in the week (did it), registered a new domain name for my quote of the day site, added a couple of new quotes to the database for that site, posted a new article to my Success Articles site, participated in the Simpleology Mastermind Forum, and completed day one of Simpleology 102.
All that’s left for the day is getting to my day job and doing my best there for 9 hours, working on my inventory for 15 minutes, and taking a shower.
And that’s how my day has been good.
