Problogger is 2 years old today, and Darren Rowse is celebrating by blogging for chickens!
As a way to give back, Darren is donating a percentage of his blogging income to Oxfam Australia in the form of chickens. I personally love the idea, mainly because it isn’t just a cash handout. The donations provide the chickens, as well as training in their care and handling, vaccinations, and market awareness. The chickens provide both (somewhat) immediate food in the form of eggs, as well as longer term sustenance and income possibilities through breeding.
I just bought some poultry for the project. Please consider doing the same, and if you blog or have a website, pointing your visitors toward it.
If you don’t want to give, either in dollars, time, and/or website space, I suggest you read this ebook, then reconsider. It’s a great opportunity to send something out there that will directly benefit your Universe.
Have a cluckin’ great day!
