Steve Pavlina’s Subjective Reality and the Law of Attraction Podcast

If you haven’t listened to this podcast, and you have any interest in the Law of Attraction and reality creation, you are missing out on a real gem.

StevePavlina.com Podcast #016 - The True Nature of Reality

Personally, I’ve never been a big fan of podcasts. I don’t yet have the gadgets to make them convenient, so the only way to do it is to sit in front of my computer, which is in my kitchen, and just sit and listen. This one is over an hour long, which made the thought of sitting through the whole thing even more painful. I tried burning it to a CD so that I could at least make it a little more portable, but even that wasn’t working; I either bought the wrong CD’s or my burner isn’t working. So I decided to do some much needed cleaning while playing it. After about a half hour, the cleaning was done, so I sat and listened.

I’ve read (and commented on) Steve’s ideas on the Law of Attraction and Subjective Reality before, and actually had a pretty major aha moment after reading one of his posts. This podcast even brought more of an appreciation for and understanding of my own role in my reality.

Probably the biggest thing that I took away from it was the idea of Creative Observation. I first got clarity on this point from Esther Hicks in the movie “The Secret”: the reason that we keep getting more of the same thing over and over in our lives is because we are constantly thinking about what we are observing, and therefore attracting more of what we’ve already got. Take Steve’s idea of Creative Observation, which is basically putting as positive a spin as possible on what we are observing, remembering, or anticipating, I feel like I can honestly observe what I’ve already created, while manifesting a better and better life.

[Just as a side note, it's also interesting how much this relates to my (somewhat neglected) series on Success Through a Positive Mental Attitude.]

Thank you, Steve. I am so glad that I manifested you. :)

  1. Lyman, his was a great podcast, wasn’t it?

I’m not sure what it is about Steve Pavlina. The
VERY DAY I came up with the idea for the traffic light analogy in my article How to run a red light, is when Steve posted HIS article Subjective Reality Analogies. Seriously, about 30 minutes after I finalized my intention to write the traffic light article, he posted his.

Then, while driving, I was listening to the CD I burned of his podcast. I listen to it about every 3rd or 4th day. As he is describing and refining his subjective approach to reality, I start thinking about the concept of each person being a projection of my own consciousness, and that if I can come to understand each person, I’ll gain further insight into myself. Then about 3 or 4 minutes later, he starts hitting on that very topic.

    Interesting manifestations.

  2. Thanks for sharing those “coincidences”, Bill. Just a little more evidence that we are all just one spiritual being, with one mind, no matter where the original consciousness comes from.
