The Personal Development Carnival Comes Back…
Next Sunday I’ll be hosting The Personal Development Carnival on this blog.
Words can’t describe how I’m feeling about this right now. It’s just so… neat how the carnival has spread, with so many hosts and contributors. I’m humbled by it, and it feels good to be in line to host next week.
Be sure to get those articles in using the Blog Carnival Submission Form!

Hi Dale, It was nice hearing from you also. I’m glad all is well.
This Carnival thingy, is this strictly links we send to you VIA the form, or can we compose stuff ourselves and email them to you for review.
Guidelines? suggestions? Maybe some personal experiences set to humor would make some good reading.
Also, are you going to post some pics on here, or what? All I can picture is that young blonde kid from church in front of a PC!!! (futile attempt at humor) let me know.

Hi Bob,
Blog Carnivals are set up for bloggers to showcase their articles, and for readers to have a central location to find articles on a particular topic. This one is specifically related to personal development, be it physical, spiritual, financial… pretty much anything that relates to improving the quality of one’s life by improving oneself.
It would be great if you want to do some writing for it! You’d need to have a blog set up as a home for the articles - if you’ve got no experience in this, I think Blogger is the way to go. WordPress also has a good blog hosting site; I think it has more power to it, but Blogger is still my favorite for beginners. And they just updated their site, so it’s giving WordPress a real run for it’s money. Both of them are free.
Just set up a blog and start writing! Once you have an article that you think fits with the carnival, go ahead and submit it through blog carnival. There are literally thousands of carnivals out there, so even if you don’t have an article that fits this one, I’m sure you’ll find one that does.
Feel free to drop me a line through the contact form if you need help with any of this.
And here’s a picture for you… a little scary, but it’s all I’ve got at the moment.
