To start this week off, I’d like to ask my readers a question. The idea was passed along to me by Steve Olson, who got it from from Chris Garrett (yes, we are talking about another meme here.)
What do you think this blog is about?
First - What do you think this blog is about? Please leave your answer in the comments section or in a blog post of your own.
Second - Ask your audience what they think your blog is about.
To continue the spirit of appreciation, I’m going to tag my most current top commentators who have blogs:
Aldian Prakoso from The Secret of Law of Attraction Accelerator
Mike DeWitt of Spooky Action
Lorraine Cohen of Powerfull Living
Vickie of Contemplate This
Mark McManus of Build Your Life To Order
Deborah Tracy of journey to raw health
Karen Lynch of Live the Power
Aaron Potts of Today is that Day
If your posting schedule permits, I’d love to see you all play along!
And even if you weren’t tagged - feel free to jump in! That’s what Steve did, so you wouldn’t be reading this now if he hadn’t.
I look forward to your comments.

Lyman,
I’d say your blog is about providing people with resources to create better lives. With both your own stories and a generous library of material from people from every corner of the blogosphere.
I love it. I come here almost everyday and find something useful and inspiring. When I am feeling down, your blog is my first stop, because I know I’ll find an uplifting video or story.
Keep up the great work.
Steve: Wow… thank you. That really meant a lot, especially coming from you. I think I like this meme.
I’ll play along Lyman and thanks for including me! Should be sometime this week.
Lyman,
I wrote down a few thoughts in answer to your question, and when I hit the comment link I saw that Steve Olsen already wrote almost exactly what I was going to write. The combination of wonderful resources and your own stories make this a really special place!
Like Steve, I love coming here. I’m always jazzed when I see a new post notification in my feed!
Thank you for this blog,
Mike
Mark - You’re welcome! I look forward to your post.
Mike - It’s good that I’ve got some kind of focus.
Thanks for your kind words… they really are appreciated.
Happy to oblige Lyman,
I have become a fan.
I have to agree with the responses thus far. I find your comments thoughtful and your personal stories combined with excellent resources make this site one of the better ones for personal development.
I know that when I visit, your post will offer insights and value to the reader consistently. You have a wonderful way of making a point in ways that the reader can understand and use immediately.
Keep writing!
Lorraine
I’m game
To me, your blog is about your working your way to where you want to be in life, a happier, more joyful place. The path you take is uniquely your own but I like sharing your journey with you.
The tools are nice, but I really like seeing you flounder around a bit trying to get some place better and then seeing that you manage to do just that.
As a fellow flounderer, I greatly appreciate the contrast that you share with all of us.
Oh, by the way, AbeFlix is on the way
Off to make a post of my own now!
Vickie
I have just started a list on outstanding personal development bloggers (see my site for details). I added you to my original top 5 list. I am asking each of you to add your favorites too. Please, add to the list and carry it on.
Lorraine - Ditto on the fanhood… I guess we’ve got a little mutual admiration society going, huh?
Thank you for the feedback, and thank you for all that you do!
Vickie - LMAO! I got this picture in my mind of us as a couple of flounders (as in fish) bumping into things underwater. That pretty much describes me - the biggest difference now is that when I do bump into things, I don’t stop swimming and say “See, this is USELESS!” And you are one of the people who taught me how to do that. Thank you. (And yay! for AbeFlix!)
Priscilla - Wow! Thank you! That’s a great group to be a part of… I’ll have my own up ASAP.
Hi Lyman,
Thanks for including me and my blog. I’ve got no time at the moment but I’ll give a howler when I’ve written something.
Sounds good, Aldain!
