Blog Action Day is October 15th

On October 15, 2007, 3,375 blogs and websites (as of this writing) will be joining together to write about a single topic – the environment.

I decided to participate, not because I’m anything close to being an environmental activist, but because I think that keeping the conversation going about issues that are important to people, and not just about Britney or Lindsay’s latest adventure, is what blogging is all about.

Considering the topic of this blog (“Working From the Inside Out”), you won’t be seeing any tips on reducing your carbon footprint. You may see some reminders that we don’t live in a vacuum, and that our thoughts, feelings, and actions have more of an effect than we often realize.

It’ll be interesting to see what comes out of peoples brains that day.

Interesting motivation… to just keep the conversation going.

I’m no activist either, but I find myself becoming more aware the more I participate in the conversation. I will be blogging about environmental investing on Blog Action Day.

Exactly Dax… We’ve all got something to share and something to learn. That’s what I mean by “keeping the conversation going.”

I just joined in too. I agree with you on not being an activist, but the environment effects us all. Might as well do what we can to help.
