In this three part video series, Earl Nightingale talks about how “a person becomes the person he becomes.”

Earl Nightingale – The Strangest Secret (part 1 of 3)

Earl Nightingale – The Strangest Secret (part 2 of 3)

Earl Nightingale – The Strangest Secret (part 3 of 3)

You can also get an audio recording of “The Strangest Secret” from Mark Victor Hansen’s website (click on MP3 download on his products page) – the link has also been updated on my Personal Development Audio page.

For those of you who have commented on this blog and emailed me, I’m back on the path to success as defined by Mr. Nightingale – the progressive realization of my worthwhile goals.  Thanks for your patience with me during this time that I needed to take for myself.

It’s been a while since we’ve communicated but I wanted to let you know I’m thinking of you and glad to see that you’re back on track towards success – whatever that might mean.

Keep it up bro – it’s always good to read your words of wisdom.

Thanks, Stephen. It’s good to see you here… and on Facebook. I just joined your fanclub :) .

Lyman:

That’s wonderful – thanks so much for joining my fanclub. A subscriber decided to put one up on her own initiative, surprising and delighting me.

It was great to see your familiar face there. Believe it or not, I’m just getting started with FB and learning my way around there. At first I wasn’t sure of its benefits but now I’m seeing differently. I didn’t like the fact that FB restricted my ability to do an intensive search but I understand they had to put some restrictions on it for security reasons.

Have a great rest of the week!

That’s gotta be a great feeling, Stephen… having someone start a fan club for you without your prior knowledge. I’m really happy for you!

And regarding Facebook – just like everything else, there is a bit of a learning curve… most of that learning curve staying away from the sheer number of time wasting applications that one can install and play with. :) And the limited search capability is a good thing when it comes to people’s privacy.

You have a great rest of the week too!

Lyman:

Yes, well, you can imagine my surprise when I learned of the fanclub.

As for the “time-wasting” applications out there, one has to be selective in terms of which ones to use, hmmm?

Lyman Reed June 5, 2008 at 6:16 am

Absolutely, Stephen… it’s all about being a little picky with what one decides to use.
