Fall Twice, Stand Up Three Times – My Boundless Living Intention

After some contemplation (read… fear of failure!) I’ve decided to take part in the third round of Bob Doyle’s “Boundless Living Challenge.”

I also decided to put my intention for the next 45 days out there for people who are not a member of the challenge site, or aren’t participating in the challenge itself.

Here’s an unedited repost of my initial intention announcement:

I wasn’t planning on participating in this round of the Boundless Living Challenge.

But then I realized that I was just wussing out.

The first challenge, I said I was going to “go big with the blogs.”

And it lasted a few days.

The second round, I was going to do my Daily Target Praxis from Simpelology daily.

Lasted a few days as well.

So what does a personal development blogger do when he’s “failed” twice?

The only option that I see is to get back up and keep moving.

This time around, I’m going to integrate the last two challenges into something that I recently learned about from Tony Robbins’ “Get the Edge” program.

I’m dedicating myself to a daily “Hour of Power.”

For the next 45 days, I’m going to take an hour for myself – every day – to focus on my physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health.

20 minutes of movement and exercise.

20 minutes of meditation and visualization.

20 minutes on my Daily Target Praxis and planning.

All of my other goals will grow from those three things. The goals for my blogs, for my finances, for my relationships, for my health can be stacked together into these three activities.

It’s time to, as Jim Rohn says, work harder on myself than I do on my job..

Thanks for being a part of that with me.

If you would like to be a part of this – setting up an intention and having a community of people to support and be supported by – take a look at the sign up page for the Boundless Living 45-Day Challenge.

And be sure to look up Lyman when you get there! :)

Wow Lyman!

You have chosen a GREAT challenge. Not only because it will be good for you in all aspects but also because it is wise. You are challenging yourself to do something that will enable you to do something else.

You know what? I wasn’t thinking about taking part (in fact it started yesterday and I didn’t get into it) but this post of yours has renewed my enthusiasm in that regard.

I took part only in the 1st round and the results were great for me.

I’ll decide about a challenge today and include myself in the fun.

Congrats and thanks!

This is a great intention to set yourself. it will really open doors to gaining more of your personal power to achieve anything that you come up with.

Inside work is always a great place to start, where else eh?

The best of success to you.

Thanks, Rob. So many different things went through my head, but I realized that they were all about outside stuff. I’m excited to see what will grow out of truly working on the inside first.
