The Law of Attraction with Joe Vitale and… Mark Joyner?

Written by Lyman Reed

Mark Joyner, who is know to be a bit of a skeptic regarding the Law of Attraction, is releasing a new Simpleology course in a couple of weeks titled Dr. Joe Vitale Teaches the Law of Attraction.

And I went “huh?”

Label me surprised, confused, and delighted.

Surprised and confused because, while Mark has never been hostile to a belief in the LoA, his “Law of Straight Lines” from Simpleology 101, some of the examples from his Simpleology book, and the cartoon above all suggest that he thinks there may be a better way than the “ask, believe, receive” approach.

Delighted, because I love it when integration like this happens.

I’ve often thought that the Law of Attraction should be renamed “The Hypothesis of Attraction.” To call something a law when it is not scientifically provable at this point in our development has often bugged me.

But I do think there’s something to it. It’s a belief that has served me – especially in the area of personal responsibility. There is so much out there that is unexplainable (so far), so much about the human mind and spirit that we just don’t know, why not explore all of the possibilities?

I’m also thrilled that this course is being taught by Joe Vitale, since his ideas of Radical Responsibility and Inspired Action are two things that really got me moving in my own personal development.

You can read the announcement post for the new course on the Simpleology blog… there’s a neat contest Mark has going on that will give you a chance to win free access to the course once it’s released!

Hiya

This Law of Attraction integration sounds interesting.
Thanks for the intro to Simpleology. I’d not heard of this before. Looking forward to discovering more of what it offers.
I also enjoyed reading the good advice in your health articles.

Thanks
Jens
