Olives properties against colon cancer

The scientists found that the maslinic acid, Mainly present in the leaf and the wax from the skin of the olive is a protease inhibitor that has properties for arresting the development of colon cancer because it is capable of regulating the growth and spread of cells affected by cancer, and in addition can also prevent cancer, i.e. it can prevent the occurrence of cancer cells more prone to this disease.

Unfortunately when it detects colon cancer is already advanced stage and can not be reversed. It is for this reason the importance of prevention provided by this Olive property.

Maslinic acid advantages over other anticancer medicines are varied, first acid is a completely natural compound and therefore is less likely to be toxic, and secondly possesses an action selectively eliminating cancer cells, whose pH is more acidic than normal.

It is estimated that properties of colon cancer of the Olive also extend to other types of tumors such as Breast cancer.
